Subscription to our newsletter

On the Intersys AG website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to our enterprise newsletter. The input mask used for this purpose determines the type of personal data transmitted to us when subscribing to the newsletter.

Intersys AG informs its customers and business partners at regular intervals by means of a newsletter about enterprise products and services. Our enterprise newsletter can in principle only be received by the data subject, if the data subject:

  • the data subject has a valid email address, and
  • the data subject registers for the newsletter mailing.

When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address of the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration as well as the date and time of registration, which is assigned by the internet service provider. The collection of this data is necessary in order to be able to trace any subsequent misuse of a data subject’s email address, and therefore acts as a legal safeguard for Intersys AG.

Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter may be notified by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a related registration, as might be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter service or changes in technical circumstances. No personal data collected as part of the newsletter service will be disclosed to third parties.

The subscription to our newsletter can be cancelled by the data subject at any time. The consent given by the data subject to us for the storage of personal data for the purpose of sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking consent, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter. It is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time directly on our website, or to inform us of this in another way.

Duration of data storage

To the extent that is necessary, we process and store personal data for the duration of our business relationship. Deletion of the data takes place after the expiry of the legal, statutory, or contractual retention periods. Data that is not subject to the retention obligation will be deleted once the specified purpose no longer applies.

Notice concerning your rights

You have the right to request information about what kind of personal data is stored about you and for what purpose it is used. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected or deleted or to have processing restricted, as well as the right to object to such processing. The objection may also relate only to certain types of processing of your personal data, such as direct marketing.

You also have the right to receive the personal data relating to you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. At your request, we will transfer it to another data controller where this is technically feasible. In the event that you feel that your rights are not sufficiently upheld by our company, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority.
